When it comes to explaining why Guilford lost, one person who can't be blamed is Keira Reynolds. Despite the final result, she scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and five steals. That's the first time this season that Reynolds pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Alexa Kukta, who scored ten points.
Branford's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Guilford, they bumped their record down to 2-4 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
