The Salpointe Catholic Lancers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 88-13 victory over Cienega. The win was nothing new for Salpointe Catholic as they're now sitting on five straight.
Hannah Williams continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points along with six rebounds and four steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. Taliyah Henderson was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Salpointe Catholic has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. As for Cienega, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-11.
Salpointe Catholic will head out on the road to face off against the Caballeros at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Flowing Wells is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Cienega, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Apaches at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Nogales focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Thursday.
