Cincinnati has gone 8-2 against Noblesville L recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Lions at 6:00 p.m. Cincinnati's defense has only allowed 14.2 points per game this season, so Noblesville L's offense will have their work cut out for them.
The home team had won the previous four meetings between Cincinnati and Columbus Crusaders, and Columbus Crusaders kept the tradition alive. The game between the Eagles and Columbus Crusaders didn't end well, with the Eagles falling 32-14. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Eagles, who until this matchup were averaging 14.25 points allowed.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Lincoln Womack, who picked up 102 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. He showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 51 yards. Jacoby Mooneyhan was another key passer, throwing for 161 yards and two touchdowns.

Cincinnati didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Truett Furniss and Holden Culpepper. Culpepper also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with eight. Another thorn in Columbus Crusaders' side was Gerret Hatfield, who picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made 15 total tackles.
Meanwhile, Noblesville L was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 48-0 loss at the hands of C4 E. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Lions came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 317th in Indiana, while the Eagles are ranked 689th in Ohio).
Cincinnati's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Noblesville L, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
Cincinnati didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Noblesville L when the teams last played back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 20-14 win. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
