The St. Francis Indian Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 78-11 loss at the hands of Red Cloud. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points St. Francis Indian has scored all season.
Ashlan Carlow-Blount was her usual excellent self, scoring 27 points along with nine steals and seven rebounds for Red Cloud. Carlow-Blount is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Jodene Hunter, who scored 18 points along with three steals.
St. Francis Indian dropped their record down to 2-8 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Red Cloud, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 14-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Francis Indian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Little Wound at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th. As for Red Cloud, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Rapid City Christian at 6:00 p.m. on February 1st.
