The Tri-Township Tigers put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 42-33 victory over Westville. Given Tri-Township's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 41st, while Westville is ranked 144th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Leading Tri-Township to victory were ADDISON HENDRIXSON and JAYDE PRYOR. HENDRIXSON dropped a double-double on 13 points and 15 rebounds, while PRYOR dropped a double-double on 20 points and 10 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which PRYOR has scored at least 25% of Tri-Township's points.
Tri-Township's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-0. As for Westville, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
Tri-Township will head out on the road to face off against DeMotte Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. DeMotte Christian's defense has only allowed 28.1 points per game this season, so Tri-Township's offense will have their work cut out for Tri-Township. As for Westville, they will be playing at home against Kouts at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kouts is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.
