The Benton Zephyrs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 66-40 walloping at the hands of Warren. Benton was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Warren apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Warren got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Bryce VanRaalte out in front who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 15 rebounds. Treyton Pafford was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with 7 steals and 5 rebounds.
Benton's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-3. As for Warren, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Benton will face off against Orangeville at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Warren's road trip will continue as they head out to face Camanche at 4:00 p.m. on December 2nd.
