Meanwhile, Robinson was able to grind out a solid victory over St. Anthony on Tuesday, taking the game 7-3.
Eva Herman made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 15 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits (and not a single walk). Herman was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in hits.
In other batting news, Eva Brashear and Leighton Boyd did most of the damage at the plate: Brashear went 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run, while Boyd went 2-for-3 with one triple and two RBI. Rhianna Moss was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
Robinson was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .423. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Anthony only posted a batting average of .160.
