The Del Sol Dragons lost against the Legacy Longhorns back in December of 2015, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Del Sol was beaten by Legacy 80-41. While losing is never fun, Del Sol can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nevada basketball rankings (they are ranked 87th, while Legacy is ranked 22nd).
Leading Legacy to victory were Rahjon Chambers and Aaron Duke. Chambers scored 14 points, while Duke scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Paul Lumford, who scored ten points.
Del Sol's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Legacy, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Del Sol is on the road again on Friday and play against Chaparral at 6:30 p.m. on January 5th. Hopefully Chaparral focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Tuesday. As for Legacy, they will head out on the road to face off against Western at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
