Clymer Central is 8-0 against Westfield since December of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. Last Monday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Clymer Central beat Maple Grove 36-31.
Alexys Neckers continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Clymer Central's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Nyweide, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Westfield didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Cassadaga Valley back in January, but they still walked away with a 49-45 win.
Clymer Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season. As for Westfield, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-4.
Clymer Central came out on top in a nail-biter against Westfield in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, sneaking past 48-46. Does Clymer Central have another victory up their sleeve, or will Westfield turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
