Colonel Richardson lost a heartbreaker the last time they played North Caroline, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's contest. The Colonels put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 10-1 victory on Tuesday. The Colonels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by seven runs or more this season.
Jordan Regulski made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 18 over seven innings pitched. Those 18 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
In other batting news, Derrick Mitchell was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Cameron Todd was another key player, earning two runs and two stolen bases.
The win (which was Colonel Richardson's fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-5.
