Victory Christian Academy was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to third in Freelance. The Knights defeated Alliance Christian 21-14 earlier in the week.
St. John's Saints moved up to 300 from 327 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league.
Victory Christian Academy's Justin Seay and Justin Seay have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Seay has thrown for 90 yards this season, while Seay, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has one catches for 67 yards. Rappahannock County's Matt Lombardi leads the league in rushing yards with 80.
A big matchup in Freelance this week will be when Hampton Roads Generals takes on Steve Ferrell's team. At the moment, the Generals are in second, while the Knights are in third.
There should be lots of points scored when Hampton Roads Generals and Victory Christian Academy face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Generals comes in having scored 45 this season, while the Knights have scored 35.
