Rocky Mount got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Keysha Mizzell out in front who scored 23 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Mizzell has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of McKinley Battle, who scored 14 points along with seven steals.
Roanoke Rapids has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for Rocky Mount, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-4.
