Germantown was led to victory by Jaycee Mani and Danica Gosz. Mani scored 16 points along with seven assists and six steals, while Gosz scored 26 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Mani hasn't dropped below two steals for nine straight games. Lucy Leininger was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with five assists and five steals.
Germantown's win was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.1 points per game. As for Kettle Moraine Lutheran, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Germantown will challenge Hamilton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Germantown's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last seven contests. As for Kettle Moraine Lutheran, they will head out on the road to challenge Martin Luther at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
