Kennedy came out on top against Deer Valley on Tuesday thanks in part to Nolan Francis's efforts. Francis scored three runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.

Coming up, Francis and Kennedy will take on Concord at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Concord will enter the matchup having just beaten Hayward, so Kennedy will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
