Antioch found their leader in underclassman Heidi Rathmann, who scored 14 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which Rathmann has scored at least a third of Antioch's points. Adelie Gomez was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Meanwhile, Grayslake Central put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Monday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 55-22 win over Round Lake. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Grayslake Central has posted against Round Lake since January 10, 2020.
Antioch pushed their record up to 15-6 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Grayslake Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.
