Florence put another one in the bag  on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Sierra Stallions as the Florence Huskies made off with  a  7-1 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Huskies also won the last time the pair played  back in March of 2018.
 Brysen Lambert made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits while striking out 17 over seven innings pitched. That's the fewest  hits  he has allowed since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing  Three bases. while going 1-for-3. With that strong performance,  he is now averaging an impressive 1.2  stolen bases per game.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Moses Behnam, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI. That's the most  RBI  he has posted since back in April of 2024.  Brynnen Lambert also deserves some recognition as  he  snagged his first  stolen bases of the season.
 Florence  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .528. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an  OBP of .528 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.
Florence pushed their record up to 4-0 with the  win, which was their third straight  at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Sierra,  they are  on  a  14-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Florence beat Sierra by a score of  17-7 later that day.
