Despite the defeat, Orchard Park had strong showings from Maggie Gocella, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and four steals, and Halle Senfield, who scored 18 points along with nine rebounds. The match was Senfield's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Ella Hernandez was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six assists and four steals.
Clarence's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Orchard Park, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clarence will be home for the holidays to greet Jamestown at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Orchard Park, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Frontier at 7:30 p.m. on December 22nd.
