Green Mountain extended their losing streak  to three  on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 10-7-1 in the process. They took  an  8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Standley Lake Gators. As for Standley Lake, their win  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 8-8. The game was the first time they have beaten Green Mountain on their field since June 5, 2021.
On Standley Lake's side,  Chris Blanco and  Titus Schrecengost made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound,  Blanco   tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. Meanwhile,  Schrecengost   pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   three  hits. Blanco has become a key player for Standley Lake: the team is 5-2 when he allows at  most  one  earned run, but 3-6 otherwise. At bat,  Blanco  went 4-for-5 with one  home run and three  RBI, while  Schrecengost  went 2-for-4 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI. That's the most  hits  Blanco has posted since back in April of 2024.
 In other batting news,  Carter Casias was  excellent,  going 2-for-4 with one  run and one  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Marc Garcia, who  went 2-for-5 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
