The biggest upset of the week belonged to Wellsboro, who took down 463rd ranked North Penn, 24-13.
Troy extended the longest winning streak in Northern Tier - Large this week by beating Canton, 29-14. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Trojans.
Athens's dynamic duo of Troy Stivason and Brad SAMPSON proved tough for Sayre to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Stivason threw for 169 yards and three touchdowns and SAMPSON had 84 yards receiving. Curt MOORE helped Athens' passing attack out by catching two balls for 55 yards.
Jed Wright was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 21 carries, he ran for 223 yards as Troy defeated the Redskins. Brandon Mattocks also contributed to the rushing game with 50 yards on the ground.
The Panthers' Taylor Hillson and Sam Bohnert have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Hillson has thrown for 1448 yards this season, while Bohnert, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 23 catches for 486 yards. Jim Smith's team's Wright leads the league in rushing yards with 1411.
