Volleyball Recap: Normal Community Gets the Win

Normal Community won the last time they faced Prairie Ridge and things went their way on Saturday too. The Ironmen came out on top against the Wolves by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Ironmen.

Alana Whitfield paced Normal Community's offense, picking up 13 kills. Whitfield got some help from Evie Mounce and her 24 assists. Mounce was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Normal Community's victory bumped their record up to 27-5. As for Prairie Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 26-6.

Normal Community wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Danville on the 21st. As for Prairie Ridge, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Dundee-Crown on the 21st.
