The Moscow Wildcats couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 41-29 to Ingalls on Friday. Moscow lost against Ingalls in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 57-50 score last time.
Ingalls found their leader in underclassman Olivia Stein, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 rebounds. Elly Jo Tancayo was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 6 assists and 6 rebounds.
Moscow's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Ingalls, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Moscow will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rolla at 6:30 p.m. on December 11th. Ingalls will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Satanta at 6:30 p.m. on December 12th.
