Coastal Brigade gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They blew past the Christ Covenant Spartans 66-35. For Coastal Brigade, this counts as revenge for the 64-33 win Christ Covenant walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2024.
Coastal Brigade got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Beau Brake out in front who almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine boards. The matchup was Brake's third in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Luke Bledsoe, who shot 78% from the field to rack up 16 points and six rebounds.
Christ Covenant's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jonas Paul, who posted ten points. Skylar Leblanc was another key player, putting up ten points.
Coastal Brigade wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 84-60 loss against DASH on the 8th.
