The Dunsmuir Tigers's game  on Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Friday. They came out on top against Elk Creek by a score of  72-65. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Dunsmuir's 16-point performance the  contest before.
  Michael Kellar had a dynamite game for Dunsmuir,  scoring 42 points along with 8  assists and 7  rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which  Kellar has scored at least 25% of Dunsmuir's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jakob Sovine, who  scored 13 points along with 3  steals.
 Dunsmuir's win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Elk Creek,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 0-2.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dunsmuir will  challenge Non Varsity Tournament Opponent at 9:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Non Varsity Tournament Opponent is out to stop a seven-game streak of losses at home. As for Elk Creek, they will head out on the road to face off against Westwood at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
