Shipley were the 60-50 winner over the Perkiomen School Panthers when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Shipley fell just short of Perkiomen School by a score of 60-58. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Despite the loss, Shipley still got an impressive performance from Gyasi Miller, who scored 21 points. Miller scored a full 36.2% of Shipley's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Matt Lange was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Shipley's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-3. As for Perkiomen School, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shipley will square off against Germantown Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Perkiomen School, they will head out on the road to face off against Phelps at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
