The North Catholic Trojans are on the road again on Monday and plays the Central Catholic Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on February 12th. North Catholic knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 19 matchups -- so hopefully Central Catholic likes a good challenge.
North Catholic pushed their score all the way to 61 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 69-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of Beaver.
Meanwhile, even though North Allegheny scored an imposing 57 points on Friday, Central Catholic still came out on top. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, Central Catholic made off with a 58-57 victory over North Allegheny. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Central Catholic.
North Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Central Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.
North Catholic took their win against Central Catholic in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 by a conclusive 66-45. Does North Catholic have another victory up their sleeve, or will Central Catholic turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
