The Elmore County Panthers won the last time they faced the Reeltown Rebels, and things went their way on Monday too. Elmore County enjoyed a cozy 51-34 win over Reeltown. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Elmore County.
Despite the defeat, Reeltown saw an underclassman step up: London O'Neal dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds.
Elmore County's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Reeltown, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Elmore County on the road again on Tuesday and play against Chilton County at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th. Hopefully Chilton County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 last Thursday. As for Reeltown, they will head out on the road to take on Central of Coosa County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Central of Coosa County is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.
