The Central Dragons will take on the Forest Hills Rangers at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
On Monday, Central beat Bellwood-Antis 13-9. The  victory continues a trend for the Dragons in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won six in a row.

 Mason Sparks tossed a big game,   striking out six batters over  five innings while giving up just two earned  (and three unearned) runs off   eight  hits. That's the most  strikeouts  he has posted since back in March.
 On the hitting side,  Jesse Muthler was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with four  RBI and two  doubles. Those  two  doubles gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Wyatt Dilling, who  got on base  in three of his five plate appearances with three  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run.
Meanwhile, Forest Hills entered their tilt with Penns Valley Area on Friday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by  a  12-1 margin over the Rams. The result was nothing new for the Rangers, who have now won seven games by seven  runs or more  so far this season.
 Chase Williamson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Williamson was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases, four  RBI,  and two  runs.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Maddox Dombrosky, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.  Brody Custer was another key player,  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances with three  runs and one  stolen base.
 Forest Hills  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in five consecutive  contests.
 Forest Hills' win was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 8-2. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.8 runs over those games. As for Central, their win bumped their record up to 11-4.
