Liberty County is 2-8 against Blountstown since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Liberty County Bulldogs will be staying on the road to face off against the Blountstown Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on February 14th. Liberty County's defense has only allowed 24.4 points per game this season, so Blountstown's offense will have their work cut out for them.
Both teams squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but sadly Liberty County had to settle for second. They suffered a tough 52-30 loss at the hands of the Tigers. Liberty County has struggled against Blountstown recently, as their matchup on Wednesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Gabriella Flowers, who scored 15 points. That was a full 50% of Liberty County's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleigh Peddie, who scored ten points.
Liberty County's record is now 19-4. Blountstown's record now sits at 18-2.
