Maple Grove came tearing into  Tuesday's  match with 14 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Elk River Elks by a score of  3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Crimson also won the last time the pair played  back in October of 2024.
 Maple Grove was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-21, 27-29,  25-15.
 Kacie Schulte paced Maple Grove's offense, picking up 17 kills. Schulte got some help from  Amanda Swiers and her 22 assists.  Mckinley Hardle controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
 Despite the loss, Elk River still got an impressive performance from   Addison Hemmer, who  had 11  digs and two assists.
Maple Grove's record is now 19-3. As for Elk River, their loss dropped their record down to 7-15.
 Maple Grove didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  3-1  win against Centennial on the 8th. As for Elk River, they will head out to  challenge Sauk Rapids-Rice  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
