 In other pitching news,  Hunter Woodrum looked comfortable as he  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (he also didn't allow any  walks).
 Back at the plate,  Louden White was a standout: he scored two  runs and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances.  Kedron Elkins was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.
 Meanwhile,  Logan unfortunately witnessed the end of their  four-game winning streak on Saturday. They took  a  5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Nitro. Logan has not had much luck with Nitro recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
 Scott's record is now 9-5. As for Logan, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
 Scott might still be hurting after the  9-1 defeat they got from Logan  in their previous matchup  back in May of 2023. Can Scott avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
