Football Recap: Ledford Piles Up the Points Against East Davidson + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Oak Grove, Ledford was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 38-7 win over the East Davidson Golden Eagles. The high-scoring effort was just what the Panthers needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Dominique Arthur went supernova, rushing for 260 yards and four TDs while picking up 7.6 yards per carry.

Arthur was just one part of a punishing run game: Ledford was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 295 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

The victory got Ledford back to even at 1-1. As for East Davidson, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ledford will head out to take on North Davidson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for East Davidson, they will face off against Bishop McGuinness at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
