Meanwhile, Lyons-Decatur Northeast didn't have quite enough to beat Cedar Bluffs on Tuesday and fell 21-19.
The win got Howells-Dodge back to even at 3-3. As for Lyons-Decatur Northeast, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
Everything came up roses for Howells-Dodge against Lyons-Decatur Northeast in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 as the squad secured a 53-4 victory. With Howells-Dodge ahead 32-1 at the half, the match was all but over already.
