The Port Jervis Raiders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 60-47 to Delaware Valley. Port Jervis lost against Delaware Valley in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 46-35 score last time.
When it comes to explaining why Port Jervis lost, one person who can't be blamed is Isaiah Boucher. Despite the final result, he scored 28 points along with seven rebounds. Carroll Dolshun was another key contributor, scoring six points along with 11 rebounds.
Port Jervis' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Delaware Valley, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Port Jervis won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Beacon at 6:15 p.m. on December 12th. Beacon is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Delaware Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Warwick at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Warwick focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 29 last Monday.
