Danvers has gone a perfect 10-0 against Winthrop recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Falcons will look to defend their home field against the Vikings at 10:00 a.m. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
Danvers is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Newburyport with a sharp 15-3 win on Friday.

Meanwhile, Winthrop can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 14-6 margin over Ipswich. The Vikings' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last four games.
Lucy Boncore made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. Boncore was also stellar in the batter's box, going 4-for-5 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.
In other batting news, Winthrop let Kylie McFarland and Guiliana Marenghi run wild. McFarland went 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Marenghi went 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Sofia Gonzalez was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Danvers pushed their record up to 3-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Winthrop, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.
Winthrop's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Danvers hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .319. It's a different story for Winthrop, though, as they've only averaged .258. Will they be able to contain Danvers' hitters?
Danvers took their win against Winthrop in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 18-1 score. Do the Falcons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vikings turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
