Danville has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Bellows Free Academy Bullets at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Danville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five contests -- so hopefully Bellows Free Academy likes a good challenge.
Last Friday, Danville faced Williamstown in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Danville walked away with a 67-54 win over Williamstown.
Meanwhile, Bellows Free Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak last Friday. Their rough 64-38 defeat to Richford might stick with them for a while. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Bellows Free Academy has scored all season.
Danville's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.3 points per game. As for Bellows Free Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2.
Danville didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Bellows Free Academy when the teams last played back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 50-44 victory. Does Danville have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bellows Free Academy turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
