Eagle is 9-1 against Boise since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. Eagle will be playing at home against Boise at 5:30 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Peyton Bargen was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.4 strikeouts per game. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Reese Northcut was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she hit this season. Ellie McManigal was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, Boise entered their tilt with Capital on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Golden Eagles with a sharp 11-1 victory. The game was the first time the Brave have beaten the Golden Eagles on their field since April 24, 2019.
Boise got a massive performance out of Kamryn Newbery, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs. Another player making a difference was Lily Binford, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.
Boise was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .407. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 6-3. As for Eagle, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
Eagle took their win against Boise in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0. Does Eagle have another victory up their sleeve, or will Boise turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
