Soccer Recap: First Baptist Christian Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Trinity Christian Academy on Monday, First Baptist Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Crusaders fell just short of the Orlando Christian Prep Warriors by a score of 3-2 on Thursday.

Micah Reynolds wasn't going to let Orlando Christian Prep walk away unscathed as he scored both of First Baptist Christian Academy's goals, bringing his season total up to five goals.

First Baptist Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four contests. As for Orlando Christian Prep, their record is now 2-3.

First Baptist Christian Academy and Orlando Christian Prep will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Crusaders see the pitch they'll take on Trinity Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on December 1. As for Orlando Christian Prep, their break will end when they face Calvary Chapel Academy at 5:00 p.m. on December 2.
