The Towson Generals will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Carver A&T Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Towson and ten for Carver A&T.
Last Friday, Towson was the victim of a rough 67-47 loss at the hands of Linganore.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Korey Collins, who scored 12 points along with two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Braden Renner, who scored 13 points.
Meanwhile, Carver A&T was beaten by Chesapeake 75-25 on Wednesday. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Carver A&T in their matchups with Chesapeake: they've now lost three in a row.
Towson has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. As for Carver A&T, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-16.
Everything came up roses for Towson against Carver A&T in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 as the squad secured a 77-27 win. Does Towson have another victory up their sleeve, or will Carver A&T turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
