The Keys Gate Knights's game last Monday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They breezed by Killian at home to the tune of 61-29. This was payback for Keys Gate, who suffered a 52-47 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Keys Gate found their leader in underclassman Terrance Shannon, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 10 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jordan Mcbean, who scored 9 points along with 14 rebounds.
The victory got Keys Gate back to even at 1-1. As for Killian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Keys Gate will be playing in front of their home fans against Monsignor Pace at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Killian will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Southwest at 7:30 p.m. on December 4th.
