There's no place like home for Woodruff, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They put the hurt on the Mountain View Prep Stars with a sharp 7-1 win on Monday. Considering the Wolverines have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Woodruff is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.4 runs over those games. As for Mountain View Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

Woodruff will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Stars: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
