Hawkinsville moved up to 172 from 201 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in A Region 4. The Red Devils were able to move up by defeating Clinch County 23-8.
Hawkinsville added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Panthers, 23-8. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
Pacelli's Wyatt Peterson and Brian Foster led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Peterson has thrown for 1,302 yards this season, while Foster has 46 catches for 511 yards. Schley County's Tra Minter leads the league in rushing yards with 1,591.
The top two teams in A Region 4 will face off this week when first place Marion County takes on second place Hawkinsville. Last week, Marion County bested Dooly County, while the Red Devils defeated Clinch County.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Eagles take on Hawkinsville. Marion County has allowed 116 points this season, while the Red Devils have given up 159. Mike Swaney's team allowed 21 points last week as it bested the Bobcats.
Hawkinsville took down Jim Dickerson's team 23-8 last week, the largest margin of any game.
