B-G-M came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Keota Eagles. That's two games straight that the Bears have won by just one run.

B-G-M's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Keota, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-4.

B-G-M didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-3 win against East Marshall on the 14th. Keota has also already played their next contest (against Pekin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
