Leesville Road won the last time they faced Athens Drive and things went their way on Thursday too. The Pride put the hurt on the Jaguars with a sharp 11-1 victory. With that win, the Pride brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Maddie Kelbaugh, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Erskine, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Leesville Road always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .536. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Athens Drive only posted an OBP of .167.

Leesville Road pushed their record up to 5-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Athens Drive, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
