The Cedarcrest Red Wolves had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They snuck past Sedro-Woolley with a 56-52 victory on Saturday. The win was just what Cedarcrest needed coming off of a 88-44 defeat in their prior contest.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cedarcrest to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kiki Anderson, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Laine Mckenzie, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds.
Cedarcrest's victory bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Sedro-Woolley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-6.
Cedarcrest will head out on the road to take on the Cubs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sedro-Woolley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Red Wolves at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Cedarcrest focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Saturday.
