Harpeth waltzed into their match  on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with  an   11-7  win over the Fairview Yellowjackets. This was payback for Harpeth, who suffered  a  13-2  defeat the last time these two teams met.
  Anna Greer made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  pitched 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned  (and five unearned) runs off   five  hits. Greer has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in eight consecutive pitching appearances. Greer was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with a  home run and three  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Molly Lane was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with a  home run, five  RBI,  and two  runs. Another player making a difference was  Mattie Johnson, who  scored a  run while going 3-for-4.
 On Fairview's side,  Abbie Hammon was cooking despite her team's loss,   scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Keyleigh Sisco, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Harpeth's victory  ended  a  four-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 7-9. As for Fairview, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.
 Harpeth will be playing at home against Lawson at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Lawson knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  team has finished with flashy  run totals in its past six contests -- so hopefully Harpeth likes a good challenge. As for Fairview, they will head out on the road to  challenge  East Hickman County at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday.
