  Ashton Pincock led a balanced group of hitters,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-2.  Brodyn Mortensen was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 On Orem's side,  Easton Davies was  incredible,  getting three  hits. Another player making a difference was  Landon Nix, who  got two  hits.
 Cedar Valley's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Orem, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won 12 of their last 14 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record  this season.
