 Trumbull found their leader in sophomore  Bea Carley, who  had six  aces and one assist. Those six  aces set a new season-high mark for  Carley.
St. Joseph now  has a losing record of 6-7. As for Trumbull, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record  this season.
 St. Joseph didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  3-0  defeat against Westhill on the 8th. As for Trumbull, they have also already played their next match,  a  3-0  victory against Stamford on the 8th.
