When it comes to explaining why San Marcos HomeSchool lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kayla McGarity. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 25 points and 10 rebounds. McGarity scored a full 50% of San Marcos HomeSchool's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Kendall Beck, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 13 rebounds.
Southlake Carroll's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for San Marcos HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 10-2.
