Service extended their losing streak  to three  on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 6-7 in the process. They came up short against  the Colony Knights, falling  11-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  10-5  on Friday.
 Service saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  McKinley Fuller, who  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with one  stolen base.
As for Colony, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won 12 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-7-1 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.7 runs over those games.
On Colony's side,  Kaidence Browning made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Those  ten  strikeouts gave  Browning a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with one  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Bonnie Schmidt was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with three  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run. Those  three  RBI gave  her a new career-high.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Service will welcome Chugiak  at 5:45  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Colony, they will face off against Palmer at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday.
