Victory Baptist Academy has not had much luck with South Haven Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Victory Baptist Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kaylah Miller, who scored six points.
South Haven Christian found their leader in underclassman Maylen Gagliano, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Sofia Ashley was another key contributor, scoring six points along with ten rebounds and three steals.
Victory Baptist Academy dropped their record down to 0-11 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for South Haven Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 14-10.
Victory Baptist Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Pleasant View Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Pleasant View Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up five on Tuesday. As for South Haven Christian, they and Christian Community will face off at 6:45 p.m. on February 1st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Christian Community will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something South Haven Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
